Clovercliff holiday cottage provides modern, functional amenities and is also dog friendly.

Sea bedroom: Double bed with views across the cliffs.
Gate bedroom: Twin beds with views inland.
Loft bedroom (upstairs): Three beds and a small selection of children’s books and toys.
A travel cot is also available.

Dining table (seats up to 7) and chairs.

Sitting Room

Amazing sea views over the Bristol channel toward the south west providing an enjoyable sunset experience.
A wood burner has replaced the old fireplace (as seen in some photos) with logs provided.
Comfortable seating for seven adults.
A wide variety of books, maps and board games.

Bathrooms

1 modern family bathroom with shower over bath (separate toilet).
Cleaning / towels / linen / maid service.
Cotton bed linen provided (other than for travel cot). Towels (an additional £5 per person).
Cleaning at the end of the period included.

Pets

Clovercliff holiday cottage is dog friendly, and pets are welcome.
A maximum of two dogs (an additional £15 each).
Please be aware that there are often sheep or cattle in the field around the property and keeping dogs on a lead may be necessary.

A large fenced garden, mostly laid to lawn, surrounded by the farmer’s fields.
Sheltered south facing patio.
Outside tap for rinsing dogs and wetsuits.
Washing line.
Garage with BBQ, logs for the wood burner, and garden furniture. The garage has spare space to store bicycles and surf boards.
The cottage and garden overlooks fields, cliffs and the Bristol Channel.

Accessibility

This cottage isn’t very suitable for wheelchair access because of doorsteps and field access outside. Underfoot terrain can be varied according to season.

Coast and Beaches

The Gower Coast Path is within 100 metres , leading to many rocky coves and beautiful sandy beaches, which is ideal for pet or dog friendly holidays.

Beaches along the Gower Coast Path:
Mewslade Bay – Less than 1/2 a mile.
Rhossili Bay – 1 mile.
Fall Bay – Less than 1 mile.
Worm’s Head – Just over 2 miles.
Oxwich – 6 miles.

Golf

Pennard Golf Club – 11 miles
Gower Golf Club (Three Crosses) – 14 miles
Fairwood Golf Club and Clyne Golf Club are within easy driving distance.

Shopping

There is a Spar at Scurlage and at Knelston Garage and milk and newspapers can often be bought at Pitton Cross Campsite about a mile away.
Some holiday makers have successfully used Sainsburys for online shopping, although the cottage can be hard to find as it’s down a farm track and quite isolated.
Grocery shopping en route at Sarn Park near Cardiff or in Swansea might be advisable, to avoid having to spend precious holiday time shopping.

Eateries

Rhossili and Port Eynon have a variety of pubs and Bistros, and there’s a pub at Reynoldston. Chips Ahoy in Scurlage is a good place for a quick and easy diner, but it’s best to check opening times. There’s a good cafe at Hillend Camping park near Llangennith for coffee or ice-cream after hiking over Rhossili Down.

Travel

The nearest International Airport is in Cardiff which is 1 hour and 44 minutes away by car. Swansea railway station is 40 minutes drive away. A car is strongly recommended for travel to and from the cottage. There are some local bus services but these are infrequent.
