A Panoramic view as you approach Clover Cliff from inland

This gem of a cottage overlooks the sea and some of the most spectacular coastline in the Gower ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' if not the British Isles. Perched two hundred feet above and within three hundred yards of the coast of the Bristol Channel, it is hardly surprising that one of our American visitors described this as ‘the best place on Earth'. The access to the house along a farm track and across a field (mind your car) ensures wonderful seclusion.

The location can be found in Google Earth at 51 deg. 33’ 34.23”N and 4 deg. 16’ 24.24”W.

Whether you like walking, painting, bird watching, surfing, paragliding, or want a great location for a family holiday this is an outstanding place. Built by the present owners’ grandparents in the 1930s to give their children close contact with nature, the cottage is within easy walking distance of the fabulous Mewslade Bay. It is also within a mile of Rhossili which boasts three miles of sandy beach. If you want peace and quiet and somewhere to sit dreamily watching the changes in light and weather, it often seems unbeatable.

The other marvellous beaches, historic landscapes and buildings, and natural wonders of The Gower are within easy reach by car or bike. You could also venture further to Swansea with its shops, the National Botanic Garden of Wales, or the historic castles of Kidwelly, Weobley, and Penrice.

The house offers simple but quality accommodation for seven (one double, one twin and one triple) which complements its natural surroundings and enhances the appreciation of this outdoor experience.
